MATH011 - Applying Matrices to Computerising and Creating Fabric Patterns

Speak/Pause/Resume Stop

It is an interesting idea to apply matrices to computerise and create local fabric patterns which symbolise Thai wisdom and regional uniqueness. This mathematical study aims at transforming two-tone fabric patterns into computerised mathematical matrices that will then be operated using addition, multiplication, transposing, and row operation. Then, some entries in the calculated matrices exceeding three will be divided by three and replaced by their remainder. This outcome results in forming new matrices in the process that further formulate three-tone fabric patterns
