ENGR014 - Heart Rate Pulse Display Based On Arduino
After the coronavirus pandemic, the importance of heart rate monitoring devices has gained more attention. Recognizing the significance of this matter, a decision was made to develop a device capable of measuring heart rate using methods that can capture various emotions associated with heartbeats. For example, synchronized sound, harmonizing with the heartbeat, allows constant awareness of the heart rate by playing corresponding audio. The fundamental component of this device is the heart rate sensor. It provides heart rate information in three different ways: rhythmic sound synchronized with the heartbeat, LED light that turns on and off in rhythm with the heartbeat, and a linear pulse display on the OLED screen. Utilizing the Heart Rate Pulse Sensor, heart rate and related parameters, such as cardiac arrhythmia (an abnormal heart rhythm), can be measured. By placing the sensor on an area of the skin closer to the veins (such as the finger or soft part of the ear), the sensor examines blood flow in the veins. Consequently, with each heartbeat, blood is pumped in the veins, and the sensor detects the flow of blood, resulting in an increase in its output voltage
